Jordan’s passion for helping people rediscover their pride in their Jewish Identity through sports was really inspiring.
The Olympics have been in full swing and now are drawing to a close. I figured this would be a great time to talk about Jewish and Israeli athletes given a lot of the misconceptions about Jewish athleticism and pride in our sporting ability.
Jordan has a media and apparel brand called Stars of the Tribe (StarsoftheTribe.com), which celebrates Jewish sports icons that smash stereotypes. On the media side, Jordan produces 60-second videos for social media that profile Jewish athletes like Jack Hughes of the NHL NJ Devils and Sue Bird of the WNBA Seattle Storm. ‘Stars’ licenses game footage from all the major leagues. On the apparel side, Stars makes t-shirts, hoodies, and hats featuring a fierce Moses mascot, plus Top Ten lists of the greatest Jewish athletes across every sport and era.
